GC Partnerships collaborated with Darin Saley in February, 2026 to do a Pastors Conference in Recreio Beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to serve the pastors and leaders of the Celebration Church Planting Network. The Friday night—Saturday day format provided a retreat-like setting, where pastors and leaders and their wives could work on assessments to help identify needs and focus on building healthy, growing relationships. But, most of all, the event, which was funded through gifts from a Tampa, FL church, and from the Tampa Bay Baptist Association, brought four different church plants from four different parts of Greater-Rio together in one place to encourage one another and to fellowship with one another.
