Dental Van

The Mobile Dental Program, funded by the Marjorie S. Fisher Fund, is a partnership with the Palm Beach County Health Department’s Division of Public Health Dentistry. The goal of the  mobile program is to improve the oral health of children in Palm Beach County in school and community settings.  

The constructiion of the mobile dental coach will allow the Health Department to operate and expand an oral health prevention program in Title 1 schools designed to provide prevention and education services, as well as referals for treatment for children having severe dental problems. Preventive measures include the placement of dental sealants on the tops of first permanent molars where 90% of decay exists in elementary school-aged children.
