Westgate Urban Infill Parks Project

Westgate Urban Infill Parks Project

This initiative with the Westgate/Belvedere Homes Community Redevelopment Agency will link five public green spaces strategically located within the Westgate community. The sites were chosen for their accessibility and the opportunity to combine needed stormwater infrastructure with ecoart/public art. 

As community amenities, they will be utilized to promote environmental education, land stewardship, cross-generational, and passive recreational activities.

The inclusive design process for the parks will provide a forum for the culturally diverse community.  This project provides both short and long term health, social, and economical benefits to its residents, businesses, and surrounding communities.
